October 4th
Paired and compete within your flight (A)(B)(C)(D)
Sweeps will be awarded to low gross and low net scorers within flights
October 11th
Paired and compete (AB)(CD)
You will receive strokes hole by hole depending on your handicap. Compare your net score on each hole to par. If you win the hole you’re +1, tie the hole you’re even,
lose the hole -1. Keep track of your match cumulatively… i.e. if you win the 1st hole you’re +1, tie the 2nd you’re still +1, lose the 3rd you’re now even in your match.
October 18th
Paired and compete within your flight (A)(B)(C)(D)
This tournament is played as if it were three separate contests: front nine, back nine and total 18-hole score.
3 Best of 4 - Hole by Hole
October 25th
Pairings will include a player from each flight
This is a 4 person team event. Each player hits a drive. Select the best drive. Each player will play their own ball in from there. Points will be as follows:
net bogie-1 point; net par-2 points; net birdie-3 points; net eagle-4 points, etc. Select the best 3 players’ points for each hole.
November 1st
This is a two person match play team event. Red and Blue team players will be paired and will compete against each other. The lower net team score determines the score for each hole.
You will either win the hole (+1), lose the hole (-1) or tie the hole (even). There are 3 points in play – front 9, back 9 and total for 18 holes.
Total points for each team will be recorded. Points will be accumulated throughout the season – all 6 matches.
November 8th
Paired and compete within your flight (A)(B)(C)(D)
This is a 4-person team event, 2 best balls of the foursome. Each player will be assigned “their” hole by the pro shop. You do not have to include the assigned hole when choosing the 2 best balls.
HOWEVER, if you have a good score on your assigned hole you may use that score twice in determining the 2 best balls – i.e. you are a hero!
If there is a 3-person team, a proxy playing the un-assigned hole on another team will be drawn prior to start of play.
November 15th
Paired in flights (A)(B)(C)(D) – Compete against the field
After completing the tournament choose best net ball on 1 or 10, 2 or 11, 3 or 12, 4 or 13, etc.
November 22nd
This is a 4 person team event. Members choose a partner (Jack). Jack and Jill both tee from the red tee markers. Choose best net ball from Jack and best net ball from Jill.
This is a MCCC event. There is an entry fee for this tournament and winnings are paid from the entry fee and not from sweeps.
November 29th
Paired and compete (AB) & (CD)
After completing the tournament, convert your worst hole from the front and back to par and record your net score.
December 6th
This is a match play singles event. Red and Blue players will be paired. A player from the Red team will compete against a player from the Blue team. The lowest net score will
win the hole. You will either win the hole (+1), lose the hole (-1) or tie the hole (even). There are 3 points in play – front 9, back 9 and total for 18 holes.
Total points for each team will be recorded. Points will be accumulated throughout the season – all 4 matches.

This is an individual tournament. Before teeing off select a par 3, par 4 and par 5 that you “hate” and record a par for those holes on your scorecard.
The hated hole cannot be used in event of a tie and cannot be used for ringers.
January 3rd
This is a two person match play team event. Red and Blue team players will be paired and will compete against each other. The average handicap of the two players will be used.
Each team member will tee off. A drive will be chosen. The player whose drive was not chosen will hit the next shot. Play will continue alternating in this manner until the
ball is holed out. There is no requirement as to the number of drives required from players. The lower net team score determines the winner for each hole.
You will either win the hole (+1), lose the hole (-1) or tie the hole (even). There are 3 points in play – front 9, back 9 and total for 18 holes. Total points for each team will be recorded.
Points will be accumulated throughout the season – all six matches.

based on handicap. Points will be based on gross score as follows: bogie-1 point; par-2 points; birdie-4 points; eagle-6 points, etc. All 4 players must be included in team score.
February 14th
This is a match play singles event. Red and Blue players will be paired. A player from the Red team will compete against a player from the Blue team. The lowest net score will win the hole.

February 21st
This is a 4-person team event comprised of 2 guys and 2 dolls. Guys & dolls tee from the red tee markers. Choose 1 best ball from guys and 1 best ball from dolls.

February 28th

Paired by pro shop
This is a 2 person team event. Each player tees off and each player hits the other player’s drive as their second shot. After the second shot the team decides which ball to continue to play and
then alternate shots until the ball is holed out. The average handicap of the 2 players will be used.
March 6th
Paired and compete within your flight (A)(B)(C)(D)
This tournament is played within your foursome. The player with the lowest handicap will play “scratch”; the remaining players will receive the difference between their handicap and the
handicap of the lowest player. The winner in the foursome is the player with the most skins at the end of 18 holes. The lowest net score wins the skin. If there is a tie on a hole, that skin is
carried over to the next hole. Whenever there are carryovers the next player to win a skin will win all previous “tied” skins.
March 13th

Tuesday, March 20th & Thursday, March22nd
The tournament will recognize one low gross champion and runner up and one low net champion. The remaining players will compete against the field for additional net positions.
March 27th

This is a team event. You will use 3 lowest net scores on holes 1 – 6, 2 lowest net scores on holes 7 – 12 and 1 low net score on holes 13 – 18.

This is a Misty Creek Country Club event. All members of MCCC may play in this event – you do not have to be a member of MCWGA. An MCCC member may not have another MCCC member as her guest.

This is a 2 person team tournament. Partners will be drawn by the pro shop after completion of play. Best net team score is the winner.

Paired and compete (AB) & (CD)
This is a 4 person team tournament format. On the first hole (cha,cha), 2 best balls count as the team score. On the second hole (cha, cha, cha), 3 best balls are counted.
Continue in rotation using 2, then 3, etc.

June 12th
Paired (AB) & (CD) – compete against the field
The lowest total putts for 18 holes determines the winner – no handicap. Any ball played from off the green, even though played with a putter, will not be considered a putt.
Any ball played on the green will be considered a putt.
June 19th

This is an individual tournament. Sweeps will be awarded for best front nine and best back nine. Same player cannot win both.
June 26th
