RED/BLUE CHALLENGE
This tournament is a team event played November through February. There will be 4 events utilizing the following match play formats: team best ball; team alternate shot; and single match play. There will be 3 points in play for each match; a point each for front 9, back 9 and 18 holes. Points will be accumulated throughout the season – total points from all 4 matches will determine the winning team. Teams will be formed by Jex and the 2 team captains. Everyone will be placed on a team unless you opt out. IF YOU KNOW YOU WON’T PLAY IN AT LEAST 2 OF THE TOURNAMENTS, PLEASE OPT OUT IN ORDER TO KEEP THE TEAMS BALANCED. Anyone joining after teams are formed can still sign up and will be added to a team.

This tournament is intended to build team spirit throughout the season. Team captains will be picked (2 from the membership and 2 from the pro shop) and it’s their job to promote friendly team rivalry. Sweeps (and bragging rights) will be awarded at the final general meeting of the season.
